An extremely rare watch of eye-catching and novel design, this calendar arrangement by Otto Fleischhauer was registered with the Berlin patent office on July 15th, 1883. Fleischhauer contracted the production of a small group of these watches to Moritz Grossmann who initiated their production but passed away suddenly in early 1885. This series of watches was then acquired, finished and sold by A. Lange & Söhne and in total it is believed that only 20 of these Fleischhauer triple-calendar watches were finished and sold under the Lange name.
